Providing a Space for Women in STEM at CCA
Meetings Every Tuesday at lunch in D201!
At Canyon Crest Academy, we are blessed with such a collaborative environment. CCA Women in STEM hopes to expand on this and provide a space for women interested in all STEM fields! We strive to cultivate a love for STEM here at CCA, so we also have resources for ways students can get involved with STEM on and off campus! CCA Women in STEM focus on three areas: 1) presenting news regarding women working in STEM, 2) reaching out to our community by offering tutoring, and 3) hosting a spring event with speakers to inspire CCA's women in STEM!

1) News and Blog
Through our News page on this website, readers can keep up to date with the world's women in STEM! The News page provides readers with female scientist's modern breakthroughs, Women in STEM Spotlights, and opinion pieces! In addition, on the Home page, readers can explore club-specific content (including updates on fundraisers, tutoring, and more)!
2) Outreach Tutoring
At CCA Women in STEM, we have assembled a team of tutors that travels to neighboring districts to help students struggling in their STEM classes!

- If you would like us to come to your school, feel free to reach out via the Contact page!
3) Speakers Event
This annual spring Speakers Event serves to inspire the future women in STEM! Hosted at Canyon Crest Academy, the event features speakers in the STEM community centered around a different theme each year. Planned by a core team of CCA Women in STEM, the Speakers Event is a place of innovation and inspiration for those interested in the STEM fields and community!
